Tommy Walter Lynn, 66, passed away Monday, Aug. 18, 2014, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born Dec. 7, 1947, in San Antonio, and graduated from Harlandale High School in 1967.

He retired from civil service as a machine operator in the quartermaster laundry service. Tommy also worked and retired from the East Central Independent School District as a grounds keeper. He loved spending time with his family and was very active in the Family Life Ministry with St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.

Tommy is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda Sekula Lynn; his daughter, Patricia Lynn; his son, Christopher Lynn and wife Mary; and six grandchildren, Justin Lynn, Christopher Lynn Jr., Kyle Lynn, Matthew Lynn, Kyla Smith, and Elijah Smith.

Visitation was held Wednesday, Aug. 20, from 5-9 p.m. in the Dellcrest Funeral Home in San Antonio, with a rosary recited at 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Thursday at 1 p.m. in St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in San Antonio.

Interment followed in St. Jerome’s Catholic Cemetery in San Antonio.
