Ok, over the last week and a half or so I have been asked several times about the government banning ammunition for AR rifles. Is this true? Well, yes and no. . . .

I read where the ATF had killed the plan to ban the ammo in question. For now. :-) I guess they are pandering to the 'greenies". LOL

Just read that ATF will delay the final submission of the framework to ban the green tips, so it appears that the color green will still be evident at firing ranges. For now. :-)

REWIND Some time ago someone took off the stock of an AR type rifle SBR & got the ATF (back then) to approve it as a "pistol". Otherwise, an SBR with a stock required a "stamp" just as a suppressor... More ›

ATF calls ban on AR15 green tip ammo a publishing mistake...... That was quite a misprint since it involved deletion of text. :-) Same source.

Just read on that the new ATF guideline already bans the green tip ammo. So much for the public comment period.
