Officials with the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office continue investigate all leads related to a string of incidents March 4-5 in which someone shot at homes and vehicles in the western portion of the county.

Sheriff’s Investigator Wayne Lehman said March 6 that approximately eight victims have come forward and that shell casings recovered at one house are being analyzed. Additionally, he said there might be more than one suspect involved. (See earlier article at

In the late afternoon March 5, officials released a composite sketch of a suspect. Lehman said he is described as a white or Hispanic male standing between 5 feet, 5 inches and 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing 140 to 160 lbs. He has short, dark hair and a slight goatee. The suspect was reportedly wearing a gray T-shirt and khaki shorts.

Anyone with information about these incidents, or who has experienced similar incidents, is asked to call the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office at 830-379-1224.

Anonymous tips -- for which cash rewards are paid in the event of an arrest -- can be furnished to Guadalupe County Crime Stoppers:
