This notice is from Bud Box concerning the Garden Day event and how it will be impacted by the rain.

IT IS STILL A "Go!" with the plant sale. The KLUP Radio broadcast will go on as scheduled, as well as the workshops and presentations, silent auction and kids' events.

The area that will be most affected will be the vendor area. Vendors may bring canopies if they wish to participate! If vendors choose to not come out, your decision is respected. Everyone should put your safety first when making that decision.

There are a few folks doing food and they can be under the big canopy, so that there are refreshments available for those who attend.

Parking arrangements will be altered, so that vendors will park in the parking lot behind the building (north side). Customers can park on the road, and then drive into the main gate and vendor area to load any items they have purchased.

Once again, thanks for your participation! And remember, it is better to have too much rain than not enough! Remember the drought?

Thanks again,

Bud Box
Floresville Alternative Center

P.S. PROCEEDS FROM THIS EVEN BENEFIT THE FLORESVILLE ALTERNATIVE SCHOOL, AND THE S.T.A.R.S volunteer student program. AND THE PLANT SALE WILL CONTINUE AT THE SCHOOL ALL NEXT WEEK, so don't despair if you can't make it Saturday!

Most gardeners would prefer rain to a drought!
