More than 2,500 elementary school students representing approximately 230 Sodexo-served school districts nationwide created healthy and fun after-school snack recipes as part of the 2015 Sodexo Future Chefs: Healthy After-School Snack Challenge.

Based on the criteria of originality, taste, ease of presentation, kid friendliness and use of healthy ingredients, 40 regional winners were narrowed down to five national finalists, who each created a video of their creative and healthy recipe. Allison Mitchell, a Floresville South Elementary student, is among the finalists. She needs your help now!

The public will determine a national winner by watching the video and voting for your favorite at

You can vote for your favorite one time per day and the voting is open until 12:00 am eastern time on Monday, May 4.

The is a public relations campaign put on by Sodexo. It is not a presidential election. Vote for Allison Mitchell. LOL

I watched all five videos and I vote for Elle Medel. All were good but I thought that Elle from San Jose, CA, was outstanding.
