Cyclists with the “We Remember” Memorial Bicycle Trek Across Texas ride into Elmendorf April 22, where they stopped to honor former police Chief Michael Pimentel, who was killed in the line of duty in August 2014.

During the ceremony, a member of the “We Remember” Memorial Bicycle Trek Across Texas team presented a cross to Patricia Gonzales and Donna Sampson, sisters of former Elmendorf police Chief Michael Pimentel.

Cyclists also met with deputies from Bexar County Constable Pct. 4 and officers from the Elmendorf Police Department during the ceremony at Elmendorf City Hall. Pimentel was gunned down while conducting a traffic stop in August 2014.
