A tornado watch is in effect until 5 p.m. today for the following counties:

Atascosa, Bastrop, Bee, Bexar, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Comal, DeWitt, Duval, Fayette, Frio, Goliad, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Hays, Jim Wells, Karnes, Kendall, La Salle, Lavaca, Lee, Live Oak, McMullen, Medina, Nueces, San Patricio, Travis, Victoria, Williamson, and Wilson­.

This means conditions are favorable for tornadoes to form. Plan now for what you will do if a tornado occurs.
