Coach Jason Fiacco and La Vernia High School Weightlifting Club team members Shelby Rodriguez, Travis Puhlmann, Matthew Montgomery, Koby Bullard, and Connor Towns stormed into Minneapolis, Minn., the weekend of June 26-28 for the USA Weightlifting Youth Championships. There were more than 550 competitors from across the nation, but the team from La Vernia stood out. . . .
