Police in Poth are investigating after a resident reported at 11:45 p.m. July 23 that an unidentified man was looking into their parked vehicles.

Chief Lowell Hull of the Poth Police Department said one or possibly two men were seen shining flashlights into the vehicles parked on the property located near the corner of Voges and Tom streets -- one block south of F.M. 541. They fled in a yellow Nissan Frontier four-door pickup truck after being chased off by the resident.

One of the suspects is described as a slender-built white male in his teens to early 20s, wearing metal-framed eyeglasses and a light-colored T-shirt.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Poth Police Department at 830-484-0281.

Anonymous tips -- for which cash rewards are paid if the information leads to an arrest -- can be furnished to Crime Stoppers of Wilson County at 830-393-INFO (4636) or http://bit.ly/NDrIut.
