A Floresville woman has been transported to University Hospital in San Antonio, after sustaining severe injuries in an accident between her Dodge 3500 dually pickup and a Kenworth tractor-trailer rig on S.H. 97 east of Floresville near C.R 306, shortly after 9 a.m. Today.

Wilson County Sheriff's Office & Wilson County EMS attended the scene, with members of the Floresville Volunteer Fire Department providing landing zone assistance for AirLife, & extracting the driver of the pickup. Details were not forthcoming from law-enforcement personnel, who remained on the scene as of 11 a.m.
