Officials hope jewelry will offer clues to burned woman's identity
These pieces of jewelry were worn by a woman found burned to death Aug. 17 on S. W.W. White Road in southeast Bexar County.

Early the morning of Aug. 17, a body was found in the 8200 Blk. of S. W.W.White Road in the southern end of Bexar County by a passing motorist. The victim was deceased and was badly burned and no identification was found. The Bexar County Sheriff's Office has since learned the victim was a woman and was wearing metal earrings, a metal necklace, a metal bracelet and a purple and white-colored bracelet.

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help from the public with any information regarding the identity of the victim and who is responsible for her death. Please call the BCSO Homicide Division at (210) 335-6070 or our anonymous BCSO Tip Line at (210) 335-TIPS (8477).
