Grimm's Musings: Part II It was the best of times, it was the worst of times

The Father sent an angel down as a precursor to The Rapture, to see how The Bride of Christ was preparing herself. First, the angel went to Jerusalem as this was known as the City of David far back into the early history of the Jewish People. He viewed The Vatican, which was easy since it stands so elegantly behind its fortress walls. The angel went to the many, many other groups who claim Christ and this took longer because, well, they just don't seem to get along with each other, or anybody else for that matter.
The angel took time to listen in on local churches, big and small, rural, urban and innercity. He listened to singing, to sermons, testimonies and prayers. The angel took time to listen and watch how each who claimed Christ lived their lives. The angel tuned into the airwaves and saw the entertainment, listen to the lyrics to the songs and heard the news reports. The angel read the newspapers, slick covered magazines, linked into our World Wide Web and followed the images and messages sent between each of person.
The angel gleaned the news as it was reported or how it was failed to be reported. The angel saw the sickness in the brutality of one group over another based on color of skin and ethnicity. He witnessed the horror under the name of Allah, how the Saints were tortured and suffering. The angel then went to each country to see the hearts and minds of the Heads of States; Prime Ministers, Kings, Parliaments, Presidents, Congresses and every governing group who was responsible for their people. The angel then went to every business, corporation, Board of Directors, every marketing program and he listened.
After completing the mission, the angel returned to Heaven but refused to enter the very Presence of The Heavenly Father. Word spread quickly that the angel had returned but that he would not enter. Finally, Michael, The Arch Angel, came out to talk with the angel. The angel was slumped against the Pearly White Gates. His wings were stained by pollution, his robe soiled by what he had to endure, grief tore at his conscience by what he heard and sickened by what he was exposed to, the angel could barely lift his weeping eyes from sobbing and said, "I knew only the Saved, the Blood-washed would make up The Bride of Christ. I knew this...but what they the majority of them are doing and allowing.
They act like Christ had never been there and the majority seemed only to care for themselves. They refuse to talk about morality and abort their babies as parasites. They know their Brothers and Sisters are dying in horrible abuse but they make excuses to not get involved. They play like their harlots and they refuse to take ownership of their own lives." The angel stopped as a wave of weeping took over. When it stopped, he continued, "I heard Satan laughing and his own messengers convinced the richest nations they needed more earthly things while their leaders fattened their pockets and people starved. It was the most wretched twisted reality one could possibly imagine!
And The Bride? I am afraid she's grown fat, lazy and has soiled her gown!" (hrg)
