Youth attend leadership tour, camp
Junior Simmental and Simbrah Association Secretary Payton Meuth (l-r), Director Georgia Dunn, and Historian McClaine Pawelek visit during the Aug. 1-2 directors camp at the Tom Brothers Ranch in Campbellton.
Payton Meuth of Floresville attended the Youth Agricultural Lifetime Leadership Tour held July 26-31, sponsored by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. The tour gave 20 youth from District 10 the opportunity to experience West Texas agricultural production. Attendees learned the value of technology in livestock and crop production from a commercial perspective. The youth also learned the importance technology plays in dairy production from a feed monitoring standpoint to its role in milk production monitoring of dairy cattle. . . .
