Franklin, the change happening leads me to suspect they won't drag their feet. I would trust Paul to make sure the best care possible is being provided; he is adamant and I believe him.

If that's true about the Rye's leaving,then it mean a step in the right direction for LVEMS. Hopefully they can get their Protocols & License up to date and don't drag their feet.

Also, Franklin, what I'm told is that there is a paramedic on board now with LVEMS. Now they just need to update their license and bring on the narcs and life saving drugs to make that position meaningful.

There's been bad blood between LVFD and LVEMS for years. EMS in the same station probably isn't going to happen. At least not at long as Rye is still running EMS. As far as EMT-I (Intermediates) The training is only a few months... More ›
