Scott Caloss is headed for Wills Point Independent School District near Dallas, to take on the role of superintendent there.
The current superintendent of the Poth ISD was named the lone finalist by the Wills Point school board during a Dec. 9 meeting.
Caloss, who’s been with the Poth school district for 11-1/2 years -- and superintendent since 2012 -- said he’s very excited about the move and the new challenges that await him, yet sad at the same time.
The Poth ISD board has set a Dec. 16 special meeting to address Caloss’ resignation and plan for a replacement.
