During the first semester of school, seventh-grade students at Floresville Middle School were given an assignment dubbed “Passion Projects” to be worked on during PRIDE class. The projects were part of the Genius 30 initiative at the middle school. Genius 30 is about students exploring their own passion and creativity in hopes that it will lead to intrinsic motivation for learning, boost their confidence, and make the learning process fun. . . .
