Several students from area elementary schools participated in an inaugural Area Science Fair, held at Roger E. Sides Elementary School in Karnes City. Participating schools included Roger E. Sides Elementary, Kenedy Elementary, Runge Elementary, Poth Elementary, and Stockdale Elementary. Each school held its own local fair, with third- through fifth-grade winners advancing to the Area Science Fair.  . . .
