Police in Floresville continue their search for two Hispanic males, both in their early to mid 20s, whom they believe fled from a Feb. 2 crash at a park located near the intersection of Third and Pine streets

Sgt. Daniel Small Jr. of the Floresville Police Department said Floresville Patrolman Victor Favella pursued a Toyota Corolla, after its driver refused to stop at approximately 6 p.m. in the 1000 block of Fourth Street. Subsequent to the driver lost control and crashing into a fence at the basketball court known as the "Lodi Courts," the two men fled. A female whom they left behind is cooperating with police.

The identities of the two men are not being released at this time, Small said, as this is an ongoing investigation.

Anyone with information is urged to submit an anonymous tip -- which could qualify for a cash reward if the information leads to an arrest -- to Crime Stoppers of Wilson County at 830-393-INFO (4636).

This sounds like the car that crashed through the kids playground at the First Baptist Church yesterday evening and ended up crashed into a parked car outside of Matas.
