Early Voting starts Feb. 16

Early voting in the Texas primary election runs from Tuesday, Feb. 16, through Friday, Feb. 26. Election day is Tuesday, March 1.

The last day to apply for a ballot by mail is Friday, Feb. 19.

Voters can weigh in on candidates from county offices -- including constable, commissioner, sheriff, and more -- through president of the United States, to determine who will be on the Republican and Democratic tickets in November.

Voters in Texas must present a valid ID -- such as a driver license, military ID, or passport -- to cast ballots. Election identification certificates can be obtained through the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Wilson County Early Voting

•Early Voting --
each weekday Tues., Feb. 16 through Fri., Feb. 26, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wilson County Courthouse Annex III, Elections Office, 1103 Fourth St., Floresville.

•Mobile Early Voting --
Thurs., Feb. 18, Poth City Hall,
9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Thurs., Feb. 18, Stockdale Community Bldg., 3-7 p.m.

•Branch Early Voting --
Fri., Feb. 19-Sat., Feb. 20, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., La Vernia City Hall, 202 Chihuahua St.,
La Vernia.

•Extended Early Voting Hours --
Thurs., Feb. 18, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Floresville location, and Sat., Feb. 20, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Floresville and La Vernia locations.

Karnes County Early Voting

•Early Voting --
each weekday Tues., Feb. 16 through Fri., Feb. 26,
from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.,
in the Elections
Administration Office, 210 W. Calvert, Ste. 140, Karnes City.
