The National Weather Service has issued a red flag warning for Monday, Feb. 8, until 5 p.m. for Wilson, Gonzales, Guadalupe, and Karnes counties. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions are occurring due to gusty north winds and low humidity. These conditions will be favorable for rapid fire growth and spreading if one was to occur. The winds will drop quickly at sunset and relative humidity will slowly rise through the evening hours.
