The effort to recall Floresville Mayor Sherry Castillo and council members Daniel Tejada and Juan Ortiz has gone to court.

Attorney Javier Villalobos filed a writ of mandamus Feb. 16 with the 218th Judicial District Court. On behalf of signers of the recall petition, the writ asks the court to order a special recall election.
