Last evening, super Tuesday, Rubio won the only state he has won thus far ... Minnesota. This is the state that elected Jesse Ventura, atheist wrestler, as their governor a few years ago. Then they sent Al Franken to the U.S. Senate as their Senator, and he's still there ... a hard left activist. Their current governor is Mark Dayton, a member of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor-Party. What? Wow, what a boost to Rubio's presidential run ... sponsored by a bunch of far left basket cases!

This morning, Jake Tapper of CNN, of all stations, asked Marco if he is not in denial about his chances of coming back and winning the nomination. He denies being in denial! Marco believes the upcoming states will go in his favor, even though he's currently losing to Trump in his home state of Florida! He's definitely in denial. Also, he's not running to win. He's running for a brokered convention. Anything to keep Trump out. News flash Marco ... Trump will win the brokered votes. That's called reality.

In my opinion, if he stays in and doesn't allow Ted Cruz to take on Trump one-on-one, he will be guaranteeing that Trump will get the nomination! If he bows out, at least Cruz will have a better than 50-50 opportunity at pushing Trump out. Kasich and Carson should also drop out. They take votes away from other republicans (currently Cruz and Rubio). Those votes are needed!

The best way for him to leave and not lose face is for he and Cruz to get together and announce that Rubio is leaving the race but moves to #1 on Cruz's list of Vice Presidential choices. That way Cruz will inherit Rubio's voters which will put him in the running for sure against Trump.

We've got to be smart in defeating Trump. Another consideration you need to ask yourself is who do I want to choose a great Constitutional Conservative to replace Antonin Scalia on the U.S. Supreme Court? Cruz or Trump? That will determine the destiny of our nation just as much as a conservative president.

What do you think?

Facts Only. I should have researched the pundits more before I posted. Won't happen again. I just got a little lazy I guess. So, that makes Matt Bevins only the second republican governor of Kentucky in at least the last ... More ›

Hum, it appears someone needs to conduct some research before posting. This is exactly why people should not trust everything that is posted to this online newspaper. Yes, my posts included.

Ernest Lee "Ernie" Fletcher was the republican governor 2003-2007. Bevins was not the first republican governor in 40 years.

Mark. I agree with you on McConnell. Kentucky had their chance in 2014 to put a conservative candidate in his place in Washington D.C. But they didn't. That candidate is Matt Bevins. When Mitch got back to D.C. as Senate ... More ›

Mitch McConnell is resposible for commanding the GOP establishment attacks on Trump. Mitt Romney has received his orders and has apparently taken up the torch by delivering his anti-Trump speech today in Utah. Last month, McConnell ... More ›
