Floresville offers bulky-item pickup to seniors, disabled

Curbside pickup of unwanted bulky items will be available to Floresville senior citizens and disabled residents March 12, but they must call 830-393-3105 no later than March 9.

Items should be placed on the curb no earlier than March 10.

Look for details on which items will and will not be picked up in the March 9 issue of the Wilson County News.

Believe me they know. The recall leaders made sure everyone was informed about who was showing up to the meetings, from nursing homes, in wheelcharis and walkers, etc. They knocked their doors too.

How in the world would recall folks know who are the disabled? Does the city have a hotline that folks can call for assistance? No. The city likely never thought that far ahead!

Who is helping who here? A disabled resident or Senior Citizen will obviously need help to get the items to the curbside. It would be nice for the RECALL Rally leaders to show up to their homes to assist. Remember the RECALL... More ›
