Trump is a master of seduction. Yes, you read that right. Webster explains seduce as "to persuade to do something disloyal, disobedient, etc. or to lead astray by doing something wrong by offering something in return." Does anyone actually believe he knows anything about leading a Constitutional, capitalistic, free-market nation? Well, unfortunately, yes. Some blue-collar conservatives along with a large majority of Democrat and Republican union members have become nostalgic about simpler, more affluent times ... they're drinking the Kool-Aid. Right now they are feeling helpless and want to see themselves once again working and in charge of their own families and futures. They all want well-paying jobs. They are the bulk of his support. He picked his seduction target very well. Trump told them everything they wanted to hear. They became loyal serfs to the cause. By the way, 'picking your target well' is the first of 24 steps to full seduction listed in a 500 page book titled 'The Art of Seduction' by author Robert Greene. Sort of goes along with Trump's 'Art of the Deal' book, doesn't it?

Trump tells them and the whole nation "We are going to make America great again, the old-fashioned way. We're going to beat China, Japan, beat Mexico at trade. We're going to use the finest business people in the world. We are going to do something so good and so fast and so strong and the world is going to respect us again, believe me. We're going to build a wall. It's going to be built. It's not even, believe it or not, it's not even a difficult thing to do."

Now what has he created? A world political problem. China and Japan, as well as Germany and others, have manufacturing facilities in Mexico. Chancellor Merkel of Germany already detests him and will soon be followed by President Xi Jinping of China and Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan. Well, progress so far on the diplomatic front? Of course Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel definitely doesn't trust him or like him. And, don't forget about the people of those nations and others. They are quite informed about what is going on here ... far more of those folks know about us and the U.S. than we know about them and/or their nations.

Case in point. Just prior to Obama's first election in 2008, I ran into a friend of mine at a small factory on the outskirts of Toledo, Spain. Almost the first words out of his mouth were "What in the hell are you people thinking of doing over there". He is a conservative also and at that time Spain's Prime Minister, Jose Ruiz Rodriguez Zapatero, a hard-core Socialist, had been elected Spain's president in 2004. He was elected under the banner of the Spanish Socialist Workers Party (PSOE) . He guided Spain into the hoax of global warming 100% and spent $27B Euros (about $35B USD) on installing windmills and solar panels all over their nation. That amount, in Euros, equates to about the monetary size of Spain's entire economy! It was a complete flop and Spain was bankrupt by 2009 with 29% unemployment. My friend went on to say, rather harshly "you idiots are about to go where we have already been and we're in the process of trying to turn our country capitalistic and dig our way out of this mess!". He then said, "We count on you for business and security just like the rest of Europe".

Why the two contrasts? They (the Europeans) view Trump as an autocratic dictator and Hillary and Bernie as socialists and a continuation of Obama. I can say for sure that my friends in those countries want none of the above. It's selfish on their part but they want someone who is strong and someone they can trust and rely upon to keep the wolves, not far from their neighborhoods, in a cage, or eliminate them. They know they can't defend themselves ... another benefit of socialism.

By the way, to end this on a high note for Spain, they elected a conservative leader by the name of Mariano Rajoy of Spain's conservative People's Party (PP) and thoroughly rejected Zapatero on his attempt at a third term. Rajoy is the incumbent leader today. Case in point from above. They knew about Obama before he was elected to his first term and have followed him ever since. Did any of you know their president's name prior to this writing?

Now for a sad note. As those who have read my previous essays already know I have made it quite clear that once a country buys into socialism it is extremely difficult to ever permanently return to a capitalistic nation. We bought into Obama twice! All you have to ask yourself is 'are we about to give socialism another shot or vote in a dictator' of sorts? Ted Cruz is our only answer but the socialist die hards and the newly seduced Trumpsters, I'm afraid, aided by the RNC establishment, are going to foil Cruz's nomination and election as the only true conservative capitalist left in the race. We're either going to end up with an authoritative dictator type or a savvy socialist.

What's left. We all need to contact anyone we know in the remaining states prior to their primary vote/caucus and urge them to at least consider voting for Ted Cruz. Otherwise, hold on tight for the eventual rocky road we're about to encounter (and mostly likely be unable to traverse and survive)! The Constitutional U.S. we knew will no longer exist.

I think Bob is correct about Trump. He is actually Obama on steroids. He huffs and puffs and threatens but has no particular plans. He is going to MAKE Carrier move back to the US. What he might do is actually drive Carrier... More ›

Heres some food for thought.. Cruz has withdrawn from the campaign, and now we see just what Trump is beginning to show us as far his less than true conservative colors. Perhaps Cruz is giving him just enough rope so come convention... More ›

Compared to the establishment Republicans, I find Trump refreshing. It is going to be an exciting ride! Yes, Cruz was my choice, but as he leaves with "boundless optimism" for America's future, SO DO I!
