Congratulations to the Stockdale Brahma baseball team for placing fourth in the District!

Join the boys for Game 1 of playoffs in Victoria where they will take on Halletsville this Friday, May 6 at 5 pm. Game 2 will be 30 minutes after Game 1. If necessary, Game 3 will be on Saturday, May 7 at 11 am, also in Victoria.

Coach Roland Salinas had this to say about what went right and wrong during the season:

“We competed in games we needed to win. We had some key pitching performances that carried us. One of the problems we had was being consistent from game to game.”

On standout players:

"Ty Zella offensively and Joel Marquez pitching. Josh Rangel's athleticism carried us in some big games.Darien Bird and Shane Hammonds helped defensively.”

On the playoffs:

“We’re taking it one game at a time. We will always be the underdog and that’s the way we like it."
