Found: Male Catahoula mix and female Hound mix, off F.M. 2772, La Vernia, both approx. 18 months old. Call 713 349 3001.
Found: Small male black and tan dog, possible Min-pin, in Floresville on Hwy 181. Call 830-660-3181.
Cute, friendly dog found in the Courthouse area. He obviously belongs to someone as he has a collar but no tags. Please call 210-355-2613 to claim him.

Ballots cast during early voting in local elections for city councils, school boards, and the La Vernia ISD $33.2 million bond and East Central ISD $86.1 million bond, as of May 2:

China Grove City Council- 63

East Central ISD school bond - 310

Elmendorf City Council and propositions -- 32

Floresville City Council - 516

La Vernia school bond -- 980 (numbers as of mid-morning May 3)

Nixon City Council - 40

Nixon-Smiley Consolidated ISD -- 74

Poth City Council -- 21

Saint Hedwig City Council - 68

perhaps the counting of mail in votes should be videotaped, is that a possibility in the future if they have already been counted. also shouldn't the signatures match the requests letters ?

Poll watchers having nothing to do with the State. They are selected at the request of a candidate or by a political party. I agree the results of the mail in ballots are probably known - we just do not know.

Fellow Patriots and I have met with many Floresville residents. About 95% have been supportive of Nick and Joyce. We just need to do our best to have this be an honest election, and I think all has been done that can be.

T-Bone, you are so wrong!! There is early voting and the dates were April 25,26,27,28, 29, May 2 & May 3rd. The actual election day to vote is May 7th. You are correct in that we do not know the count on mail in ballots.
