1. Currently the budget for all the city parks Operation , Labor and maintenance $389.000.00 plus $82.000.00 for pool total $471.000.00. According to the M&S survey the city has done a poor job.. M&S tell the city it will cost $360.000.00 to maintain 9 parks (which includes the community park) . M&S number is $111.000.00 less then the city current budgeted. What will the parks look like next year. There is some thing missing here?
2. FEDC talk about $ 1.4 Mil now it is $1.5 Mil SO it went up $100.000.00?
3. I guess the city need to come up with $500.000.00 where does that come from?
FEDC budget is $800.000.00 and they will pay $100.000.00 from the $150.000.00 new business budget. This leaves $50.000.00 for new business. We are on track to have a 4% short fall on sale tax . $800.000.00 -4% =$768.000.00 Short fall $32.000.00. The $50.000.00 -$32.000.00 means we will have $18.000.00 to help new business. If it is a 3% shortfall we will have $26.000.00 This sound real inviting for new business help.
