Boil water notice canceled for Cimarron residents

(Updated 5/20/16) Oak Hills Water Supply Corporation is canceling the Boil Water Notice that was issued for the Cimarron Subdivision in Wilson County on Wednesday, May 18. Water sample results of all samples taken Wednesday and Thursday have come back and state water is bacteriologically suitable for human consumption. The Boil Water Notice was issued due to loss of pressure from the recent power outage in the Floresville TX area.

Update 5/19/16) The boil water notice for Cimarron residents continues in effect per Oak Hills Water Supply Corp. until further notice.

The Oak Hills Water Supply Corp. has issued a boil water notice to its customers in the Cimarron subdivision in Wilson County in the wake of severe storms early this morning that caused wind damage and power outages.

This is in effect until further notice, according to Stephanie Bell, Oak Hills Water Supply Corp. office manager.
