Flash flood watch
The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch in effect through Friday, May 27, at 6 a.m. for Bexar, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Karnes, and Wilson counties.
An upper level disturbance moving across Texas will interact with a moist, tropical type airmass to generate showers and thunderstorms this afternoon through tonight. Rainfall amounts of 1-3 inches can be expected with isolated amounts of up to 6 inches possible. Due to recent rains, soils have become saturated.
The flash flood watch is along and east of a line from Burnet to Boerne to San Antonio to the Karnes City line.
