Police seek help from the public to identify a thief who made off with approximately $100 worth of fuel May 24 from the H-E-B gas station in Floresville. The suspect gave the attendant a credit card which later proved inactive before taking the fuel and fleeing the scene.

It is believed that this is the same individual who stole $268.09 worth of fuel May 20 from the Exxon One Stop gas station along 10th Street. On that occasion, he left an inactive card and a set of keys with the attendant before filling up a barrel in the back of a blue Dodge pickup truck and fleeing the scene.
