The Stockdale Elementary School Book Wizards didn’t have to use magic, just a love for reading, to be named champs of the Inter-District “Name That Book!” contest May 26 in Seguin.

On May 16 students at Stockdale Elementary School participated in its annual “Name That Book!” competition. This year’s local competition was full of excitement in each and every round. The three teams competing finished the final round in a three-way tie! Winning the sudden death tiebreaker were Jalietza Zepeda, Jullian Jaramillo, Kenan Haecker, Stephen Heathcoe, Alena Vaughn, Jamilla Zepeda, and Coach Pat Rutland, also known as the Book Wizards.  . . .
