Bexar County Sheriff’s Office IDs murder victim, seeks suspect

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office continues to search for the individual responsible for a recent murder in Northeast Bexar County. The body of a man who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds was found just before 1 a.m. on June 20, in a field off New World and Montgomery.

The Medical Examiner’s Office has now positively identified the victim as 44-year-old Joaquin Paredes Sanchez.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office Tip Line at 210-335-TIPS (8477).
