Compared to last report: All hay classes were steady this week on light to moderate movement. Some Alfalfa sales had picked up as some dairies and feedlots decided to stock up while prices were low. Large bales of beardless wheat and coastal Bermuda traded for starter calf rations in feedyards. Prior to the Fourth of July weekend, coastal Bermuda producers in North, East, and South Texas continue to bale hay with reports of large quantities available. Prices for hay and pellets quoted per ton except where noted. . . .
