Drivers going through Floresville July 5 were in for disappointment when they found that road work along S.H. 97 had not ended on the July 4 completion date previously reported in the Wilson County News.

The repaving of S.H. 97 from U.S. 181 to Wildrose Drive will now be finished on July 29, according to the Texas Department of Transportation. Workers and police officers are directing traffic at the intersection of U.S. 181 and Standish, with alternating single-lane closures along S.H. 97.
