The Family Life Center of the First Baptist Church in Floresville will host a free screening of “The National Parks of Texas, In Contact With Beauty,” Thursday, Aug. 11, beginning at 6 p.m. The film includes a reference to the historic Rancho de las Cabras in Floresville, part of the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park.

This is a change of venue for this event, originally set for Floresville High School.

Registration is required. Visit for tickets.

The event will include a panel discussion and audience question-and-answer session on the historic ranch’s significance to the Floresville and greater San Antonio communities.

The Family Life Center is located at 1304 Third Street (entrance on B Street) in downtown Floresville.
