(Posted at 8:36 a.m.) The American Red Cross has opened a shelter for flood victims at the Floresville Middle School, located at 2601 B Street, in Floresville. The shelter has been open since Sunday, Aug. 21 at 3 a.m. and will remain open all day.

Alternate access to the shelter can be taken through Indian Pink or the Tiger Lane entrance off SH 97.

Reports say that flood warnings continue until 9:30 a.m. today. The Wilson County News team is working to provide updates to the area. Watch this site for more information.
