Two 18-wheelers collide near Stockdale, cause highway closure

Traffic is being diverted north of Stockdale from S.H. 123 to C.R 417 because of a major accident involving two 18-wheeler trucks.

The accident involved a head-on collision between the two vehicles shortly after noon at 1241 S.H. 123 North. The respective occupants were reported to be suffering from back injuries and lacerations. Helicopters were called in to transport the injured.

S.H. 123 is closed because of gravel and a 100-yard oil spill on the road as a result of the accident.
