(9/11 has NOT been forgotten)

I half expected it, my whole life it had been this way. Sadly, I didn't have a clue to what extent.

I was told I had offended someone.

First, it was because I was not educated enough and not religiously disciplined enough. Of course, because of the above, I wasn't earning enough, wasn't saving enough, wasn't able to spend enough and didn't buy the right stuff. So, I studied, applied myself, sacrificed, worked hard, got promoted and purchased stuff. The years passed and then I was told I had offended someone. I had become too educated, too religious and had prospered too much. Frankly, I was ostracized because I thought too much, worked too much, had too much, and if I took time off, I was told I rested too much.

Someone was offended by my conclusions, my opinions, my choices, my convictions, my ethics, my morals, my beliefs, my God, my modesty, my possessions and my position. They said it offended them because they didn't like my conclusions or anything else that made me, me.

They were offended that I made a wage but I was to send it to them in increasing amounts. They were offended that I budgeted my own income but wanted to give themselves a raise and they couldn't do it without my money. They were offended that I was offended!

They were offended that I didn't open my Community to who they wanted to live with me who they invited who were offended at my Community standards and that we would have to pay for them and change to accommodate their being offended.

Well, someone was offended by my color, my nationality, my ancestry, my culture, my whole race and because of it, I had to make amends for everything everybody didn't like about me, my people and what made me, me.

You can only imagine how highly offended they actually became when I told them, "YOU'RE ALL FREAKIN' NUTS!" (hrg)

Great article - very well written. There are many of us that long ago got weary of the BS called political correctness. Those that want to use it for their agenda's are losing their grip and looking very foolish to many. ... More ›
