Dorothy Louise Skloss Jarzombek was born June 20, 1937, in San Antonio, Texas, to Henry P. and Albina Hahn Skloss. She went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016.

She married the love of her life, Henry Paul Jarzombek, on April 24, 1960, in St. Jerome’s Catholic Church in Martinez.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 52 years, Henry P. Jarzombek.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Karla Moczygemba and husband Michael of Panna Maria, Donna Pawelek and husband Preston of Pawelekville, Paul Jarzombek and wife Mandy of Schertz, Albina “Cami” Swierc and husband Richard of Hobson, Valerie McInvale and husband Charlie of Poth, and Bryan Jarzombek and wife Stacy of Floresville; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; her brothers, Raymond Skloss and wife Shirley of San Antonio, Phil Skloss of Converse, Herman Skloss and wife Carol of Mission, and Leroy Skloss of Leesville; and her sister, Henrietta LeSage of Bulverde.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 12, at 5:30 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. in St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Kosciusko.

A funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the church, officiated by the Rev. Wieslaw Iwaniec.

Interment followed in St. Ann’s Cemetery in Kosciusko.

Serving as pallbearers were Bryan Jarzombek, Paul Jarzombek, Charlie McInvale, Michael Moczygemba, Preston Pawelek, and Richard Swierc.
