1925-2016

Helen Louise McCullough, 91, one of 12 children, was born May 29, 1925, to Curtis Brown and Selena Eadie in Charleston, S.C. She was reunited with her husband of 67 years, Homer McCullough, in their heavenly resting place on Monday, Sept. 12, 2016.

Helen was actively involved in her community as an election judge for San Patricio County and a member of the Piano Teachers Guild in Nueces County. She was an organist for 50 years and a private piano teacher in Aransas Pass. She influenced hundreds of lives through her music ministry. Her biggest blessings in life were her three children, eight grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer McCullough; a son; her parents; and siblings.

She is survived by her daughters, Ardis Click (Roger) and Pat Garey (Dan).

Visitation was held on Friday, Sept. 16, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas.

A funeral service was held on Friday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home.

Interment followed in the Prairie View Cemetery in Aransas Pass.
