We are fortunate to have an exceptional librarian and staff running the Wilson County Public Libraries. Each of these dedicated employees deserves recognition and praise. This letter, however, is to express our appreciation to former employee, Linda Downs, who served the community for the past three years. . . .

No one ever said anything about harassment. Seems like when someone great fired they always finds an excuse instead of facing the fact it was their fault. I appears "nepotism" is ramped in Floresville.

New Guy. You are correct Texas is an at will state and employees can be fired for any reason. However, there is a caveat the reason can not be illegal, so there must be a reason. For example you can not be fired in retaliation... More ›

Does not matter whether they are or are not investigating, the law is very clear "...without incurring legal liability" Next time read your employee paperwork.
