Mark Gotthardt of Karnes County has received the 2016 Watershed Leader (by an agricultural property owner) award for conservation work that he has done on his property. The San Antonio River Authority (SARA) hosted its inaugural Watershed Wise Awards to recognize individuals and organizations from Bexar, Wilson, Karnes, and Goliad counties who have helped to raise awareness of watershed issues relevant to SARA’s vision and mission during 2015-16. . . .
