The second annual Forget Me Not Benefit Team Roping and silent auction is set for Saturday, May 4, in the San Patricio County Rodeo Arena in Sinton.

The Ramirez family is coordinating the Forget Me Not Team Roping in loving memory of Ester Ramirez, who passed away in June 2010 from Alzheimer’s disease. Last year, the Ramirez family donated more than $5,100 to the Alzheimer’s Association.

The family is seeking monetary donations toward the purchase of trophy items for the ropers or other donations, such as jewelry, baked goods, or gift cards, for the silent auction.

The Ramirez family is asking that all items/monetary donations be received no later than Friday, April 26. Checks can be made out to Forget Me Not and mailed to 135 Park South, Kyle, TX 78640.

For more information, contact Bonnie Ramirez at 936-661-5868 or ymramirez777@gmail.com, Valerie Ramirez at 936-662-9940 or valram24@yahoo.com, or one of the Ramirez family members, including Ariel, Sonia, Vanessa, Velma, or Michelle.
