The Wilson County District Clerk’s Office has confirmed today that the Wilson County Grand Jury has returned two indictments against insurance agent and former Greater La Vernia Chamber of Commerce Treasurer Patsy Ritchey.

The first indictment charges Ritchey with theft of property worth more than $20,000 but less than $100,000 and with misapplication of fiduciary property. It alleges that Ritchey, over a three-year span, took money belonging to the chamber and deposited it into an account for her business, the Patsy Ritchey Insurance Agency. The agency, up until April 18, was affiliated with Farmers Insurance.

The second indictment charges Ritchey with theft of property worth more than $1,500 but less than $20,000. It relates to an alleged theft from Phenix Architectural Woodwork Corp. that occurred on or about Dec. 7, 2010.

Wilson County District Clerk Deborah Bryan said Ritchey was arrested July 16 by the Texas Rangers.

Yeah, about time she has to answer for something she did. This is just the beginning. The sad thing is how much she preyed on the people who thought she was their friend.

Oh well, you do the crime, you pay the time! Picture in paper, SHE should have thought about the damage she was doing to her family when she was screwing the people out of money that did not belong to her.

Hope they can't bail her out. If so they will make a run to Mexico and the cartel will get em. Or imaginary Mary that stole all the money....will get em.

Make sure she serves jail time, unlike that county clerk from a couple of years ago. No probation!
