Marvin Bielefeld and Voncille Mills were married on Nov. 17, 1962, in Sutherland Springs, Texas, in the First Baptist Church by Voncille’s uncle, the Rev. Judson Mills. A reception of cake and punch followed at the Community Center in Sutherland Springs.

They returned to live in San Antonio after a short honeymoon. Marvin and Voncille lived in San Antonio for 26 years before moving back to Wilson County, where they built a home in Tower Lake Estates and they continue to reside in a second home they built in 2001.

Voncille is a prominent Realtor in Wilson County and Marvin is retired from the Via Metropolitan Transit System, where he worked for 33 years. Their children and spouses, Douglas and Patricia Bielefeld and Denise and Keith Klepac honored them with a dinner and dance on Nov. 18, 2012, at the Republic Golf Course in San Antonio. The celebration was attended by many close family members and friends.
