Beaver and Elizabeth Wallace of Floresville, Texas, and Eva Kelly of San Antonio are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Cassi Wallace, to Russell Korzekwa, the son of Anthony and Patricia Korzekwa of Falls City.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Curtis and Leona Wallace of Floresville, Carol Dowdle of San Antonio, and the late Edgar Dowdle, and the late Charles and Dorothy Kelly, formerly of San Antonio.

Cassi is a 2002 graduate of Floresville High School and a 2010 graduate of Texas A&M-San Antonio, with a double major in English and history. She is currently employed at Floresville High School.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Leonard and Emily Korzekwa, formerly of Falls City, Theresa Pilarczyk of Karnes City and the late Edd Pilarczyk, and Robert Ebrom Sr. of Karnes City.

Russell is a 2001 graduate of Falls City High School, and an 11-year employee with Karnes Electric. He also farms and ranches.

The couple plan to exchange vows in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Panna Maria, Texas, on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, with a reception to follow in the Kosciusko Hall.
