The La Vernia Angels remind everyone to attend the fourth annual Evening With Santa Pajama/Coat drive taking place on Thursday, Dec. 6, in the prayer garden of St. Ann Catholic Church in La Vernia.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive at 6:30 p.m. via their sleigh and escorted by the La Vernia Volunteer Fire Department. Santa will then visit and have pictures with children under the gazebo while Mrs. Claus offers free sleigh rides to everyone. Also enjoy a “Polar Express” train ride, an outdoor Christmas movie, hot chocolate, cookies, and Christmas music. In the midst of the activities, the angels will also be handing out gently used coats, new blankets, new pajamas, and new undergarments to all children in need.

There is still time to donate gently used coats, new blankets, new pajamas, and new undergarments. Donations can be left in drop boxes at the La Vernia Intermediate School, H-E-B, Dollar General, Family Dollar, La Vernia Chiropractic, Little Bear Day Care, Affordable Trailer, and most surrounding churches.
