Floresville Chamber of Commerce

FLORESVILLE -- Area business owners are advised to use caution if approached about purchasing ads in a magazine promoting Floresville and Wilson County.

“The Floresville Chamber of Commerce wants to inform everyone that a man, proposing to print a ‘magazine’ highlighting our area, is in no way connected to the chamber, nor are we involved in this endeavor,” said chamber President Philip Vipond. “The chamber already publishes a visitors guide with complete and accurate information on Floresville, which is paid for by the ads our board directors sell. We would like to ensure that businesses’ advertising dollars stay within the community.”

The Floresville chamber will soon begin working on its new 2013 visitors guide. For more on this publication, call the chamber office at 830-393-0074 .

If you think you are a victim of advertising fraud, contact the Texas attorney general’s office at http://www.oag.state.tx.us or the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office at 830-393-2535.

Editor’s Note: The caller selling these ads is not affiliated with the Wilson County News, either.
