Tristan Summy of La Vernia has graduated from Waterfowl Brigade Camp held at the Big Woods on the Trinity in Palestine. This is Tristan’s seventh camp with the Texas Brigades program. He will be returning to Waterfowl Brigade Camp as an assistant leader in July. He also plans to return to Ranch Brigade as a special agent in August.

Texas Brigades is a co-ed wildlife leadership program for youth 13-17 years old. Cadets learn about wildlife, leadership, and conservation. Camps are conducted by volunteers from various government and nonprofit agencies, organizations, and individuals. Scholarships are available.
