When Jefferson made this statement he was merely reinforcing his words in the Declaration of Independence, "But when a long train of abuses and usurpations , pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security". He was talking to us folks ... "We the People"! That would make it our duty to 'throw off' our current president and at least 80% of our congress, representatives and Senators alike. October 29, 2012 A couple of years ago, Obama announced a $2B 'investment' in Petrobras, a part Brazilian government/ part private investor owned energy drilling and exploration company. The company was drilling in the deep waters off the coast of Brazil and announced the discovery of possibly the largest oil find in South America. They needed funds to proceed. They are listed on the stock market for investment by private individuals worldwide. George Soros bought almost $900M dollars worth of their stock. The stock was declining in value after his purchase. Obama decided to give Petrobras $2B of your taxpayer dollars to help boost the stock price per share and hopefully bail out his number one supporter. The timing was just a coincidence? May 17, 2012 As we all know, Art Linkletter would say ... "Kid's Say the Darndest Things". He based his early TV show on asking questions of young children and having them respond with their thoughts on what they were seeing and perceiving from their surroundings. March 20, 2012 When I state 'we' in the subject, I mean every person in every country on the entire planet. Most of my reasoning is derived from common sense and a sense of reality without an agenda. Think about it. Every time we turn on the TV news, go to the gas station, read an article in the paper, or read an opinion blog the only thing we hear about and concentrate on is the cost of gasoline, pollution of carbon fuels that are ruining our air quality and causing climate change and health problems, our near total dependence on foreign sources for this fuel, and a justification as to further 'proof' that we need to go totally green. February 20, 2012 It had nothing to do with the Catholic Church, singularly, or Obama's high regard for all women receiving 'free' contraception. It has everything to do with achieving several final, socialistic goals. It was about his re-election campaign for 2012 ... the first goal he must achieve. How he gains incremental steps in his ultimate final goals can be explained by a short review of Saul Alinsy's book entitled Rules for Radicals. October 3, 2011 A young lady entered a rather large airport, checked in, and went to her departure gate only to find out that her flight was being delayed by over two hours. She became quite upset. But, to make the most of an uncontrollable situation she decided to buy a book and a bag of cookies and go the gate area to read and snack away the time. (More)
